Launch of Leinster U16 Championships
After last week’s Minor Championship openers, attention turns this week to our U16 competition. Reigning champions, Dublin will hang on til March 22nd when they will face Westmeath, the clash owing to PPS Lidl Schools competitions. In the A Championship though, Meath will take on Kildare in Ballinlough.
In the B Championship, Laois will take a trip to Abbeylara GAA in Longford to take on the home side while Darver will host home side, Louth, against Carlow.
In the C Championship, Wicklow welcome Kilkenny to Baltinglass GAA while Offaly will host Wexford at Bretland Park.
The final game of the weekend will see Wicklow and Louth minor teams get their competition underway. They meet in Blessington GAA at 4pm in their Minor Championship opener.
Tickets are on sale now and available at the respective links below. Adults - €5, OAP and Student €3 and those u16 are free and do not require a ticket.
We wish all teams involved this weekend, the very best of luck!
