The round robin competition has completed and it has resulted in Laois would

qualifying for a semi-final against Dublin, this will be in a Laois venue where the

winners will meet Westmeath in the Leinster final on the 19th of July. Meath head

for the all-Ireland qualifiers and will know who they are playing on the 6th of July.

 

INTERMEDIATE

The Intermediate Championship is down to semi final stages and next Sunday sees newly re-graded Kildare at home to Wexford. Wexford overcame a hard working

London in the quarter final, which will stand to them but they will need to sharper

against this young Kildare squad as they aim to rebuild for the future.

The second semi final is between Offaly and Wicklow with the Faithful county getting

the nod in this one. They captured the NFL Division 4 title earlier in the year and are stregthened by their minor B Leinster winning squad. Greg Farrelly has them playing

a fast flowing brand of football and they over ran Longford in the semi-final.
