Leinster LGFA would like to congratulate Loreto St. Michael’s Navan and Cross and Passion from Kilcullen on winning their College All Ireland finals.

Loreto St. Michael’s produced a brilliant display to defeat St. Brigid’s Convent of Mercy in the TESCO PPS Senior B Final although Bridgid’s did rally and give Loreto a real scare but they did hold on to claim the title on a 5-13 to 2-11 scoreline with Stacey Grimes named as the Player of the Match.

Cross and Passion from Kilcullen edged out an exciting encounter against Davitt College in a high scoring encounter. The teams went in at half time 4:06 to 4:05 in favour of Cross and they held on to that lead right up until the final whistle as the second half was a much tighter affair with the final score ending 4-12 to 4-09.

In the meantime we will strive to keep you up to date of activities taking place on the Leinster Ladies Football front.
